About the artist
Inga Burina — ceramic artist
A Russian-Spanish artist based in Benicàssim since 1997. I work at the crossing of ceramics, painting, mosaic and the decoration of spaces, with a single aim: to create beauty in different ways — from the first sketch to the on-site installation.

I was born in Moscow in 1974 and have lived and worked in Benicàssim, in the province of Castellón, since 1997. I trained in Russia and Spain, and over the years I have gathered a broad range of techniques — ceramics, painting, mosaic, mural — because I like having many tools to create beauty in different ways.
My current work revolves around IngArt Studio: custom ceramic murals and panels, author's tableware and the decoration of spaces for homes, restaurants and hotels. I am drawn above all to ancient, traditional, natural materials — clay, glazes, mosaic — for their living energy and their ability to last.
I work the full cycle with my own hands, from sketch to installation: the idea, the sketches, the calculations, the production in the studio and the fitting. For large works I form a team, but the concept and the key pieces are always mine. My language draws on the Mediterranean, on nature, on the sea and on a personal, recognisable imagery.
In Benicàssim there is also Ingart Art House — an art workshop and gallery with events, where a gastronomic evening with a professional chef can also be arranged.
