A jungle for Habanero restaurant
A restaurant wall turned into a tropical jungle: wall painting and hand-painted ceramic tile — toucans, monkeys, vines and foliage. The atmosphere grows from the venue's own concept, Habanero, in an authored adaptation to the brand.

The idea
Habanero wanted the venue itself to be a trip to the tropics. Starting from that concept, I brought the jungle onto the walls by combining two techniques: wall painting for the background scene and hand-painted ceramic tile for the details with texture and shine.
I painted and glazed the ceramic on a grid on the wall — slow work, piece by piece, so the plants, the birds and the monkeys gained depth. Ceramic adds relief and durability; painting adds breadth and continuity to the scene.
The result is a space where every corner is a part of the jungle. It is a direct example of how a ceramic mural can reinforce a restaurant's identity and become its focal point.
